A Homegrown Leader

Thirty years ago I began my career in OUSD as a bus driver. Seeing the excitement of students on the first days of school is one of my fondest memories. Being charged with the safety of our students was my most important task. As I have worked my way up, I have never forgotten the joy, nor the responsibility the job brings. I am the Director of Transportation in the third largest public school district in Orange County, overseeing a multi-million dollar budget. I have decades of experience dealing with the business side of a school district and have seen first-hand the impact of difficult budget decisions and the positive impacts of fiscal responsibility on student learning.
